On Tuesday, August 4, 2015 Director Mark Bolton met with Officer Liliana Hernandez, her counsel and a union representative to discuss the facts surrounding the allegations of misconduct that resulted in a recommendation to terminate Ms. Hernandez’s employment. The information presented at the pre-termination meeting did not persuade Dir. Bolton to keep Ms. Hernandez as an employee. Today, Wednesday August 5, he issued a letter terminating Ms. Hernandez’s employment with Louisville Metro Department of Corrections and had that letter delivered to Ms. Hernandez this afternoon.
